By Football Italian staff The ex-Fiorentine striker has confirmed he does not have a contract with the club and that he will be looking for a new club.
The 31-year-old had been in talks with Fiorence for some time and was set to receive a new one after the end of the season, but this weekend it was announced that he had officially turned down the offer from the Rossoneri.
Rossi has been a big player in the Italian Serie A for years, with his exploits including scoring in the 2012/13 Champions League final, the 2011/12 Europa League semi-final and the last eight of the 2012 European Championship.
However, the striker has also struggled with the knee injury that forced him to retire at the end in 2014, with the striker’s career now firmly in the hands of Francesco Guidolin.
